This weekend I had a pretty drastic change in hair. Normally, I would get straight to the point and show the new pictures of the new hair. But first I’d like to give a little back story. I started going to my hairstylist, Casondra, about 3 or 4 years ago after Edward Scissorhands did a chop job to my innocent hair. I’m really bad about the upkeep of my hair. I’m not one of those girls that will go get their hair did every 6 weeks. I typically wait until my ends and roots are so bad that I can hardly brush my hair anymore. This was one of those occasions where my hair was so gnarled at the ends that I could no longer get a brush through the ends. So during my lunch hour I ran to a cheap little hair salon to get my ends trimmed and this is what happened:

Needless to say I went back to work and called and begged my normal salon to get me in because this was clearly an EMERGENCY situation. My normal girl was busy so I went with Casondra who turned that wreck into this:

We’ve had a beautiful relationship ever since! Since that fateful day I have always come into my appointments telling her to do whatever she wants because I trust her and her ability to work wonders on my hair. This time in I said I was ready for a change. She showed me a picture of model with short, RED hair and I said well we’ve never tried red before! So red we went. After the transformation I went home and took some self portraits. I’ve never done this before. I went out on the patio to catch the last few minutes of sunlight and I prayed that no one came walking by while I was out there. Alright alright…without further ado…here’s the NEW ME!!!!

I know this last one has a lot of sunflare right on my face and it’s pretty washed out by the sun but I really liked it!

Trust and believe there were a LOT more pictures than this but I don’t want to look toooooo vain! Well, I hope you enjoy, and even if you don’t just say you do! I probably won’t stay red for too long but I think it’s a really fun change for now.![]()
