Happy Valentine’s Day!!! I know Valentine’s Day isn’t a real holiday but I think it’s fun anyway! It’s not like I want flowers that will die or jewelry that I’ll never wear or an expensive dinner in a crowded restaurant. I just want a token of love and thoughtfulness. Some people argue that love and thoughtfulness should be spontaneous and come throughout the year, but come on, that never happens. And like a birthday you have to set aside a specific day to make sure it happens.
For this Valentine’s Day Mikey got me vegan cupcakes as pictured above!! I sent him a link to the scrumptious Etsy store The Cupcake Mint and they arrived in our mailbox this morning. They come undecorated because they wouldn’t really ship very well. So I got to decorate them myself and wait for Mikey to come home to try. Seriously you would never know they were vegan. They were soooooooooo good!
Fun fact: while photography these delicacies, I not-so-delicately put my foot in one. At first when I felt the odd, squishy sensation I thought it was cat doo, but quickly realized what it really was. Don’t worry it was salvageable, I am currently digesting it as we speak. 
In other news, we are heading to Vegas tomorrow morning for WPPI aka the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. This is my first time going and I’m really excited. I’ve heard that thousands and thousands of photographers go to this thing and there are tons of classes and tradeshow booths to see! I’m excited to meet up with old friends and hopefully make some new ones. I will be there until Wednesday night. I’ll probably have a lot to post when I get back!!
