Happy Easter + 1st Birthday

Yesterday was (obviously) Easter. Today was (less obviously) my nephew’s first birthday! We celebrated both occasions yesterday at my parent’s house in Ventura. I’m pretty sure it was the best first birthday ever! Dathan is the cutest kid on the planet and I have proof!

Dathan started his day off playing with bubbles.

Then Uncle Mike helped him play on the zip line.

He quickly mastered the Easter egg hunt. Here he is with mom and sister laying claim on a large egg.

Then his mom helped him find all the treasures inside each egg.

Here’s Dathan’s cousins finding out what was in their eggs. Theirs had money instead of toys!

Then it was time to open all of his presents.

Grandpa was playing with the HUGE strawberries we brought while Dathan was playing with his cake.

Then he ended his day wrestling his balloons!!
