Sunday will now be called FUNDAY!

Since the dawn of time, or quite near the inception of our relationship, Mike B has worked EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND. Not fun. For the past couple of months he has been granted a get out jail free card and had been given every other Sunday off! And then when we least expected it they upped the ante and allowed him every single Sunday off! So from now on Sunday is Funday in my house. This last weekend was the first Funday. I was working late Saturday night (more on that later) so we slept in super late, watched the Laker’s game in our PJs, then headed up to Santa Barbara. We went down to the beach to rent bikes and ended up renting a Deuce Coupe. A Deuce Coupe is a three-wheeled, low-rider, two-seated contraption. It was so much fun and so much better than each renting a bike. Here are some pictures we snapped on the point and shoot.

After the ride we walked down to the edge of the pier and you can literally walk right up to the ledge. Yes, I really am that white and wore a white dress to boot. I was blinding people left and right.
