Wedding {Denise & Luis}

A couple weeks ago Charise let me tag along to a wedding she was shooting at Maravilla Gardens here in Camarillo, CA. This was the closest wedding to my house that I’ve ever shot and I only know of one other venue that’s even closer. It’s such a beautiful, quaint garden venue. I had such a fun time shooting with Charise and Jen (Jen was there too). It doesn’t feel like work when you’re doing something fun and you’re doing it with your friends!

Second kiss as husband and wife. The second kiss is my favorite because the first one is in front of an entire audience but the second one really seals the deal when you get to do it in (semi) private.

This is my favorite image of the day. Charise and I were in the salon with the girls getting ready and we flipped through a magazine and we saw a model squatting and we remarked that it was similar to Becker’s signature pose but a different angle and Charise said she would love to get a picture of a bride like that and I said yes, that would be fabulous especially if she was lightly holding her bouquet. So as Charise was shooting the formals, Jen and I snuck away with Denise and as we were finishing up Charise yelled over to me to do the pose we were talking about. I almost forgot! I love how it turned out!

SPARKLER GRAND EXIT! When Charise was telling me about this wedding she said “sparkler grand exit” and I canceled all my plans to be there!
