Disneyland

Yesterday, I went to Disneyland for my niece, Shantel’s, 12th birthday. I can’t believe she’s 12 already! I remember when she was born. I feel so old. I normally have a pretty steadfast rule of not hanging out in places where multitudes of children congregate, but Shantel asked me to come for her special day and I couldn’t say no! (Side note: my first attempt at spelling “multitudes” came out as “multidudes” I think my version is funnier) My mom, sister, niece, nephew, and I all went down along with approximately 100,000 other people. Seriously, how many people do you think go to Disneyland every day? My sister, Amy, guessed 100,000. I was thinking more like 10,000 but the more I think about it I think her number is probably closer to accurate.

Little bro! We stopped at a parade and he was pointing at everything. He loves to point, just to make sure you’re seeing what he’s seeing.
