Oh, Canada {Wedding Invitations}

I absolutely love when brides think to send me an invitation to their wedding! It’s like they see me as a guest/friend and not just a vendor. I think wedding invitations set the tone for the wedding, so when I receive them ahead of time it’s gets me totally pumped for the big day!

Now there are invitations *yawn* and invitations *WOW*. Last week I received a box in the mail, and I mean who doesn’t like to receive a box in the mail?? Turns out this box was the invitation for the wedding I’m shooting in Canada in January! I can’t believe how quickly it’s coming up…seems like just yesterday I was telling Brittany me friend/bride that she had fooooooorever to plan her wedding and now it’s right around the corner. I just had to show you guys how amazing these invites are. It really was like opening a present.

The box:

I love how it was wrapped in twine. Since it’s a destination wedding, the invites had a travel theme. The invites look like tickets!

Again, everything is travel-themed so they included a huge map of Ontario:

Now, for most people invites like these would be out of the budget, but Brittany and Ian are having a VERY small wedding so they are able to splurge on a lot of the little things because they don’t have to buy so many of them. I’m so excited for this wedding because Brittany is 1. buying a lot of stuff from Etsy for the wedding and 2. paying a lot of attention to the details and making sure the wedding is a true reflection of them. From the conversations I’ve had with her, I know that the whole wedding is going to be so personalized. I can’t wait! See you guys soooooon!!!
