Decade: A Period of Ten Years

A couple days ago, I called Mike when he was at work. He didn’t answer. When he can’t answer he usually calls back and says “I was with a client” or “I was in a meeting” or something very work serious related like that. Well, this time he says “oh sorry I didn’t answer, I was chasing a squirrel”. Most wives would probably be like “who is this 2-year-old, put my husband on the line”. But not me! I laughed and said, “that sounds about right”. You see, Mike and I like squirrels. We think they are adorable. We like a lot of the same things. We like to cuddle on the couch and watch TV. We like the same food; we both could eat Indian food every day. We like our cats. We like to dream about going back to Maui or Vegas. And most importantly we like each other. Ten years worth. A whole entire DECADE worth of like. I’m happy to say today: Happy 10 (TEN!!!) Year Dating Anniversary Mikey!!

One of the reasons we like squirrels is because our little Sammi reminds us of a little squirrel:

And I thought it was only fitting since it’s our ten year anniversary to buy us the ten season collection of Friends! Especially considering that earlier in the week I posted about how I used to be able to get in two episodes a day on repeat, but now BOTH channels stopped the rotation so I had to give in and buy them all! Happy 10 Year Anniversary to us all!
